Mrs. Patricia “Patti” Ann Wurtsmith, 78 of Atlanta, Michigan passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on July 23, 2026 at her home. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 23, 1947 to the late Harry and Dorothy (Maas) Wurtsmith. She resided in Atlanta since 1975. Patti worked as a waitress and cook at many of the local bars and restaurants in Atlanta. She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed sewing. She also had a green thumb and loved to garden and keep her yard looking beautiful. She is and will be deeply missed.

Patti is remembered by her sons, Gary Walz and Bill Walz; brothers, Michael Wurtsmith, Gary Wurtsmith; sister, Barb Cleveland; and companion, Dan Bosch. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Dorothy Wurtsmith; son, Tim; sisters, Cass and Madeline; and first husband, Mark Walz.

In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. The family has chosen to remember Patti privately at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to Green Funeral Homes.
