Patrick Klein

Patrick Robert Klein Mr. Patrick Robert Klein, 65 of Hillman, Michigan died peacefully on February 4, 2018 at MidMichigan Medical Center in Alpena with his loving wife at his side. He was born in Pontiac, Michigan on March 5, 1952 to the late, Emerald and Louise (Minton) Klein. He served his country proudly in the United States Army. On June 8, 1974 in Atlanta he married his wife, Lillian (Dice) Klein and together the couple celebrated 43 years of marriage before his passing. The couple moved to Hillman in 1992, formerly of Big Springs, Texas where Patrick worked in oil and gas production gathering permits for various companies for 20+ years. He also spent some time as a repo man while living in Texas. Patrick was an outdoorsman and enjoyed camping, hunting, and taking his boat out to fish. At home he enjoyed to watch the Discovery channel, as well as the history channel and old westerns. He loved to socialize with friends that would come to visit and cherished his time spent with family. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Lillian Klein of Hillman; sons, John E. Klein; Patrick (Christal) Klein both of Hillman; grandchildren, Dominic, Arron, Christian, and Ethan; sisters, Carol Klein of Lundberg, Indiana; Betty Steinhoff of Gaylord; and Donna (Ed) Kitchen of Vanderbilt. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emerald and Louise Klein; grandson, Ryan Klein; and sisters, Jacqueline Allan; Joan Balew; and Barbara Ann Klein. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will take place for Mr. Klein at 1:00PM on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Hillman Rust Township Cemetery; Hillman.
