Mr. Richard Emmett Deska, 87 of Lewiston, Michigan passed away at Munson Healthcare Otsego Memorial Hospital in Gaylord, Michigan on March 18, 2026. He was born in Detroit, Michigan to the late Gus and Eileen (Grace) Deska on August 20, 1938. He served his country proudly in the United States Navy. Richard worked for 28 years at Ford as an electrician before retiring in Lewiston. He was a member of the Lewiston Lions Club and served as trustee on the Albert Township board for several years. Richard was a ham radio operator and enjoyed golfing. He is and will be deeply missed.

Richard is remembered by his son, Greg Deska; grandchildren, Ryan (Kaylyn) Deska, Derek Deska; great-granddaughter, Evelyn; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gus and Eileen Deska; wife, Diane; son, Mark.

Internment for Mr. Deska will take place at Albert Township Cemetery where he will be laid to rest in the Spring. Arrangements were entrusted to Green Funeral Homes.
