Richard Pete Niswonger

 Mr. Richard Pete Niswonger, 49 of Hillman, Michigan died on April 1, 2024 at his home. He was born in Rogers City, Michigan on October 17, 1974. Richard resided in Hillman all of his life and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and finding the occasional morel mushroom. He is and will be deeply missed.

 Richard is survived by his daughter, Emma (Tyler Barnes) Niswonger of Hillman; son, Cody Niswonger of Parachute, Colorado; grandchildren, Opal, Millicent, and Jensen; mother, Rhoda Robinson of Hillman; siblings, Kim Niswonger of Fife Lake, Tom (Heather) Niswonger of Beulah, Marilynn Miller of Lachine, and Clyde Miller. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lavina and Roland Robinson; and uncle, Roland. 

 In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. There will be a graveside service held in celebration of Richard’s life at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Hillman Rust Township Cemetery, Hillman, Michigan; Pastor Dave Fisher officiating. There will be a luncheon following at the Hillman VFW Hall.
