Mr. Robert Lee Arnold III, 30 of Atlanta, Michigan died suddenly on March 10, 2019. He was born on June 22, 1988 in Rochester Hills to Robert and Christine Arnold Jr. Robert graduated from Avondale High School in Auburn Hills. He went to Moran Industrial Arts in Onaway and graduated as salutatorian. He worked for Mark One in Gaylord. He loved hunting, fishing, reloading, and especially his beloved dogs, Robbie's Duchess Dream and Bailey, both boxers, and also, Coco a pit/lab mix who all proceed him in death. Most important in his lifetime he accepted Christ Jesus his Lord and Savior. The play, "Rose of Lamb" moved him so much that he yelled, "Let Him Live" when they went to do the crucifixion act. At the Baptist Church in Gibraltar they had an alter call after the play and he crawled over me. I said, "where are you going?" and he told me he was going to be saved. We praised the Holy Spirit for touching his soul and praised Jesus for his unconditional love. He wanted to be baptized and was at Auburn Hills Presbyterian Church in November of 1995. He's at peace and we are blessed to know he's in Heaven. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.
Robert is survived by his parents, Robert Jr and Christine Arnold; sister, Shannon (James) Neal; nephews, James Jr and Joseph; and grandmother, Helen Garland. He was preceded in death by his brother, J.D. Myers Jr; grandparents, Robert Sr and Eleanor B. Arnold; Eugene W. Vincent; and Gerald R. Garland.
Arrangements were entrusted to Green Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested donations be made to the Elk County Animal Shelter, Atlanta.
