Robert Berryhill

Robert Clair Berryhill Mr. Robert Clair Berryhill, 75 of Atlanta, Michigan died peacefully at his home surrounded by loved ones on April 26, 2015. He was born in Lansing, Michigan on June 13, 1939 the son of Dewey and Fannie (Ball) Berryhill. He married the former Luanne Zenker on April 25, 1964 in Atlanta. Robert retired from General Motors Fisher Body Plant after 35 years. He has lived in Atlanta for the last 22 years, formerly of Mason. Robert loved to build, especially pole barns and sheds that he had built on his property. He also enjoyed fixing and repairing anything he could, but most of all, he enjoyed his time with family and his grandkids, who referred to him as "Papa." Robert will be greatly missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Luanne Berryhill of Atlanta; son, Rusty Berryhill of Atlanta; daughters, Melissa Berryhill and Laurie Berryhill of Atlanta; grandchildren, Josh, Cody, Mariah, Dylan, Cheyenne, and Zoey; great-grandchild, Kason; sister, Ada (Jack) Buckmaster of Lansing; and brother, Dewey (Carol) Berryhill of Lansing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Fannie Berryhill; son, Robbie Berryhill; sister, Betty Berryhill; sister, Barbara Swanson; and brother, DeWayne Berryhill. A memorial visitation will be held in celebration of Mr. Berryhill's life on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Green Funeral Home; Atlanta, Michigan from 12:00-2:00 PM.
