Mr. Robert Lew Hosmer, 79 of Comins, Michigan passed away suddenly on April 11, 2026 at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. He was born on December 31, 1946 to Edsel and Eileen (Soward) Hosmer in Flint, Michigan. He served his country proudly in the United States Army. Bob was a member of the American Legion Post 198 in Lewiston, Comins Eagles, and a proud member of the NRA. He resided in Comins for the last 25 years and was an active member of the Comins Community Church. Bob enjoyed woodworking, hunting, and fishing. As a mechanical engineer for Buick, Bob loved to work on cars and owned a 1969 Jeep. He is and will be deeply missed.

Bob is remembered by his loving wife, Patricia Hosmer; children, Barry (Sharon) Faulkner, Timothy (Diane) Faulkner, Carrie (Matt) Faulkner; stepchildren, David (Sharon) Schmiege, Amy (Tom) Beregon, Lana (Jeff) Hummel; grandchildren, Bethany, Zachary, Joshua (Madeline), Steven, Stephanie, Cecelia, Maxwell, Steven (Amy), Cadie (Brandon), Allie, Nicolas, Ethan, Sydnie, Kenny, Samantha, Skyler, Aaron, Jeremy; and 19 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edsel and Eileen Hosmer; wife, Janet; sister, Lee; and son-in-law, Matt.

Funeral services for Mr. Hosmer will take place at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at Comins Community Church, Comins. Visitation will take place from 10:00 AM until time of service with a luncheon following. Interment will take place at Loud Township Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Green Funeral Home.
