Rodney Craig Mayse Jr

Rodney Craig Mayse Jr, 52 of Mio, Michigan took his final trip around the sun on May 16, 2025. He was born in Anchorage, Alaska on July 24, 1972 to the late Rodney and Mary (Hodge) Mayse Sr. He has resided most of his life in the Mio area. Rodney was a member of the Masonic Lodge and worked as a tree trimmer for both Asplundh Tree Experts and Nelson Tree Service. He loved both hunting and fishing. He will be deeply missed.

Rodney is remembered by his son, Dakota Mayse; daughters, Autumn Mayse and Morgan Helper; granddaughter, Ellianna; two great-granddaughters on the way; nieces and nephews, Charles, Morgan, Kyle, Cole, Jacob, Molly, and K.C.; and great-nieces, Nova and Ava. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rodney and Mary Mayse Sr; aunts, Anita and Cheryl; uncles, Richard and Michael; sister, Sheila Antkowiak; and niece, Kayla Forbing.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family has chosen to remember Rodney privately at this time.
