Roland Coon

Roland F. Coon Roland F Coon, 69, of Atlanta, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2007. He was born on August 15, 1937 to Roland and Esther (Matthews) Coon in Ann Arbor, MI. He served his country in the US NAVY. Roy has lived in Atlanta since 1991 formerly of Westland, MI. He retired from Detroit Diesel in 1984, where he worked as a pipe bender. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. He loved to cook and tinker around the house. Roy is survived by his wife, Patricia, of Atlanta; step son, William (Pearl) Vesperman of Westland, MI; step daughters, Susan (Joe) Zeits of Lakeland, FL, and Dee Dee (Adam) Gorski of Lincoln Park, MI; 4 grandchildren; and his special cat, Snowflake. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned at this time.
