Shirley Watson

Shirley Ann Watson Mrs. Shirley Ann Watson, 84 of Hillman, Michigan died peacefully at Hillman Haven on May 28, 2015. She was born in Flint, Michigan to the late, Everette and Georgeanna (Pratt) Miller on August 4, 1930. She married husband, Kenneth Watson on February 21, 1950. He preceded her in death in 2011. Shirley lived in Hillman since 1985, formerly of Flint. She was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Lachine and worked there when she was able. She enjoyed to crochet hats, scarves, and baby blankets for anyone that was in need. She always enjoyed to help people as well as spend time with her family camping. She liked to collect bells, and had a great sense of humor, always loved to tease for a good smile. Above all else, Shirley was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. She is survived by son, Ken (Debbie) Watson of Colorado; Gary (Rita) Watson of Kansas; Rodger (Pam) of Owosso, and Michael (Marcia) Tyler of Hillman; daughters, Carol (Randy) Hunt of Hillman; Diane Gregson of Burton, MI; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren and sister, Stella Pettite of Burton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Everette and Georgeanna; and husband, Kenneth. Funeral services for Mrs. Watson will take place at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 2 at the Green Funeral Home; Hillman, Michigan; Pastor Dave Hill officiating. Visitation will take place on Monday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home. Internment will take place at Hillman Rust Township Cemetery; Hillman.
