Stormy Stewart

Stormy Lea Stewart Mrs. Stormy Lea Stewart, 59 of Mio, Michigan passed away on October 26, 2014 at home with her loving husband at her side. She was born in Pontiac, Michigan to Jack and Marie (Drake) Duke on May 29, 1955. She moved to Mio in 2012, formerly of Mt. Morris. Stormy worked as a CNA for 20 years in various nursing homes all over the state. She loved to write and was the author of several books on herbal edibles. She also wrote fiction novels and was working on the third novel in the trilogy. Stormy was a collector of recipes, having 10,000 of them and cooking 300 different meals a year. She also enjoyed to gather wild edibles, natural tinctures, and lotions. She is survived by her loving husband, Eric Stewart; children, Leasa Leinenger, Terra LaChevet-Dusette, Joshua Leinenger, Brandon Avis, and Kalon LaChevet; and sisters, Sharon Boadway, Jackie Swain, and Diana Henderson. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned for Mrs. Stewart at this time.

As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned for Mrs. Stewart at this time.
