Mrs. Teresa Lynn Engstrom, 67 of Lewiston, Michigan danced her way into Heaven on the early morning of April 21, 2026 surrounded by her family. She was born on October 31, 1958 in Flint, Michigan to Robert and Patricia (Passmore) Connelly. Just before her 20th birthday, she married David Engstrom, on October 28, 1978 and together they raised two sons and celebrated 47 years of marriage before her passing. Formerly of Rochester Hills, they have resided in Lewiston for the past three years. Teresa was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She was a music enthusiast and loved to perform and sing all over with her father and brothers while growing up. She loved to sing and dance and entertain. She found quiet moments crocheting and making blankets for her loved ones, reading a good book, and gardening. She adored her grandchildren and spending time with her family. She is and will be deeply missed.

Teresa is remembered by her loving husband, David Engstrom; sons, David (Jessica) Engstrom, Nicholas (Chelsea) Engstrom; grandchildren, Nadia, Theodore, Abel, Austin, Andrew; parents, Robert (Patricia) Connelly; siblings, Tim (Patricia) Connelly, Tom (Crystal) Connelly, Ted (Nora) Connelly, Tracey (Kathy) Connelly; and in-laws, Jerry (Janey) Engstrom.

A Mass of Christian burial will take place in celebration of Teresa’s life at 12:00 PM on Friday, April 24, 2026 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Lewiston; Fr. Scott Lawler officiating. Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM until time of Mass. Arrangements were entrusted to Green Funeral Home.
