Timothy “Tim” Forrester, age 68, of Atlanta passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday June 18, 2026.

The son of James and Mildred (Woodbury) Forrester, he was born August 31,1957 in Gaylord. He was a 1976 graduate from Atlanta High School. Tim was raised and lived in Atlanta his entire life. He worked for multiple golf courses in the maintenance department for many years. He was a big fan of watching the Tigers in the summer, the Lions in the fall and NASCAR whenever it was on. He was also a member of the Big Rock Church and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed.

Surviving is his sisters, Evelyn (Edward) Shibler of Delia, KS; Elizabeth (Larry) Smith of Chandler, AZ; brother, Jim (Jody) Forrester of Ishpeming, MI; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Mildred; and his brother, George.

In accordance with this wishes cremation has taken place. The family has chosen to remember Tim privately. Arrangements were entrusted to Green Funeral Homes.
