Wallace Jack McMurphy, age 88, of Atlanta, passed away peacefully July 21, 2019 at home. He was born to James Hoy and Nettie Mae (Ferguson) McMurphy at home on May 4, 1931. He graduated from Atlanta High School in 1949 and married Cena Mae Van Dyke in 1954 after two years of military service in Korea. After selling the IGA grocery business in Atlanta, which Jack had in partnership with his brother Ervin, he went on to Central Michigan University for his Bachelor and Master Degrees.

July 24 would be 65 years  of marriage. They shared a full life enjoying many trips with their beloved children who were the joy of their lives! Jack and Cena enjoyed camping, kayaking, hiking, biking and gardening.
