William Young

Mr. William Alan Young, 81 of Lewiston, Michigan peacefully died in Petoskey on August 16, 2020 at Villa at the Bay. He was born on April 30, 1939 in Wyandotte, Michigan to the late, William and Adelaide (Glose) Young. William was a workaholic spending his career at Ford Motor Company's Michigan truck plant of Wayne. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and working around the yard. He will be missed dearly.

William is survived by his wife, Sally (Samworth) Young; son, Scott (Sandy) Young of Lewiston; daughter, Tammy (Lex) Wright of Westland; stepdaughter, Janet (Richard) Clark of Grand Rapids; stepsons, Christopher (Anastasia) Davis of Macomb Township; Robert (Jennifer) Davis of Garden City; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and brother, John (Elaine) Young of Novi. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dennis Young.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will take place at Briley Township Cemetery, Atlanta at a later date.
