William Michael Journeau, 71 of Atlanta, Michigan passed away peacefully in the home he built with his own two hands on July 21, 2026 with family at his side. He was born to the late William and Glenda (Hild) Journeau on November 12, 1954 in Royal Oak, Michigan. He resided in Atlanta since 1991. William was a past member of the Atlanta Eagles and volunteered within the community any time that he could. He took care of his elderly mother, spending weeks at a time with her throughout the course of several years. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, hunting, and spending time in his yard. He is and will be deeply missed.

William is remembered by his children, Kathryn Jaroscak, Shannon Journeau, Jason (Devon) Journeau; 17 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and brothers, Gary (Paula) Journeau, and Mike (Renee) Journeau. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Glenda Journeau; wife, Carolyn; son, William; and grandson, Eri Jaroscak.

In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. The family has chosen to remember William privately at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to Green Funeral Homes.
