Wilma Jean Pippin Mrs. Wilma Jean Pippin, 72 of Lewiston, Michigan died peacefully with her family at her side on November 9, 2016 at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor. She was born on October 15, 1944 in Cookeville, Tennessee. She married her husband, Johnny Pippin in Detroit on December 18, 1963 and together the couple celebrated the last 52 years of marriage before her passing. The couple moved to Lewiston in 2007, formerly of Clawson. Wilma attended the Woodlawn Church of God in Royal Oak. She enjoyed to be outdoors and liked to feed the hummingbirds. She had a passion for her flower and rock gardens. Wilma adored her grandchildren and considered them to be her angels. She always had a special way of making anyone feel loved and welcomed into the family. She was a great cook and always cooked for family gatherings. Wilma fought hard since being diagnosed with cancer six weeks ago. Her time spent with family and friends was important to her and she will be dearly missed. She is survived by her loving husband, Johnny Pippin of Lewiston; sons, John (Marlane) Pippin Jr of Troy; Jimmy (Annette) Pippin of Allen Park; daughter, Cathy (Donald) White of Lewiston; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Bill Bumbalough of Jacksonville, Florida; Junior (Glenda) Bumbalough; Danny (Sharon) Clouse both of Cookeville, Tennessee; sisters, Barbara Bohannon; Bonnie Tallent; and sister-in-law, Joan Bumbalough all of Cookeville, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lennie Clouse; brothers, John, Ted, and twin Bobby; and sisters, Marie and Ann. Funeral services for Mrs. Pippin will take place at 11:00AM on Monday, November 14, 2016 at Green Funeral Home; Lewiston; Pastor Dave Engel officiating. Visitation will take place on Sunday, November 13, 2016 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM and again on Monday from 10:00AM until time of service. Interment will take place at Albert Township Cemetery; Lewiston.
