Bruce Harbron

Mr. Bruce Kenneth Harbron, 84 of Lewiston, Michigan died peacefully at Otsego Memorial Hospital on March 9, 2023. He was born in Flint, Michigan on August 15, 1938 to the late Kenneth and Elaine (Hayden) Harbron. He married his wife, Alice (Bonin) Harbron on May 20, 1961 in Rochester, Michigan and together the couple celebrated 61 years of marriage before his passing. Bruce and Alice were small business owners, operating A&B Construction in Utica, Michigan in the 1970s and the Red Oak General Store in Red Oak, Michigan in the 1980s. Bruce built the store. Later, he retired as a welder from Cooper Standard in the year 2000. He was always working on projects in his workshop and was known to be able to fix anything. He enjoyed being in the outdoors and hunting and fishing, as well as camping, gardening, and traveling. Family meant a lot to Bruce, and he valued the time he spent with both family and friends. He is and will be deeply missed.

Bruce is survived by his loving wife, Alice; sons, Steve (Jennifer), Mike, Matt; grandchildren, Delaney (Dusty), Ashley (Matt), Carleigh, Kaden, Ava, and Olivia; and great-granddaughter, Emercyn. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Elaine Harbron; sister, Sandra Boyle; and grandson, Brady Somsel.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family has chosen to remember Bruce privately at this time and will hold a private memorial service in celebration of his life at a later date.
