Obituary

Mrs. Donna Jean Francisco, 85 of Atlanta, Michigan died peacefully at her home surrounded by the love of her family on May 12, 2022. She was welcomed into Heaven with open arms by her husband, Wayne, who preceded her in death in 2016 after 50 years of marriage. Donna was born on April 23, 1937 in Pontiac, Michigan to the late, Cyril and Helen (Howlett) Burling. She has lived in Atlanta since 1981 and was a member of Canada Creek Ranch and the Church of Christ. She was a talented artist and enjoyed watercolor and painting, as well as reading. She will be deeply missed.

Donna is survived by her sister, Gay Larkin of Atlanta; brother, Edward Burling of California; grandson, Danny (Pam) Francisco of Temperance; nieces, Debbie (Mark) Bowers of Atlanta; Terri (Gordon) Braunschediel of Milford; Jill (Mike) Dauenhauer; Jeanette (Ken) Newbill both of Waterford; along with many other nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; and her many Canada Creek Ranch kids who were blessed by her presence. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cyril and Helen Burling; husband, Dr. Wayne Francisco; sister, Dorothy; and brother, Bill.

Funeral services for Mrs. Francisco will be held at noon on Monday, May 16, 2022 at the Church of Christ, Atlanta; Pastor Jerry Robertson officiating. Visitation will take place from 10:00 AM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Church of Christ in Donna’s memory. Internment will take place following services at Loud Township Cemetery where Donna will be laid to rest.
