Jackson Barton

Mr. Jackson Earl Barton, 85 of Hillman, Michigan left this world peacefully on April 13, 2022 and was welcomed into Heaven with open arms by his late wife, Mary. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 7, 1937 to the late, Harold and Julia (Kepling) Barton. He has resided in Atlanta since 1989. An avid outdoorsman, Jackson loved to hunt and fish. He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his children, John Barton of Lum; Scott (Tammy) Barton of Fairfield, California; Pauline (Steve) Docherty of Atlanta; Tom (Kim) Barton of Lum; Bryan (Melanie) Barton of Casco Township; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Julia Barton; wife, Mary; son, Dan; and daughter, Kathleen.

Funeral services for Mr. Barton will take place at noon on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Green Funeral Home, Atlanta; Pastor Dave Fisher officiating. Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM until time of service.
