Mrs. Judith Ann Currie, 80 of Atlanta, Michigan died peacefully at Lincoln Haven Nursing and Rehab on February 21, 2020. She was born in Detroit, Michigan to the late, Russell and Ella (Boehning) Benson on October 15, 1939. Judith spent the majority of her life in Atlanta and graduated from Atlanta High School in 1958. She worked numerous jobs over the years including working at the Montmorency County Abstract for Kenneth Chadwick for many years. She then worked at the Lewiston State Bank and First of America Bank before returning back to the Montmorency County Abstract where she worked for the Bolser's. Judith was a member of the Atlanta Eagles Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing cards, especially poker. She went to rabbit camp for many years with the ladies and also enjoyed traveling all over Europe and the United States, including Hawaii. She valued her time she spent with her family and her grandchildren. Judith will be deeply missed.

Judith is survived by her son, Scott Currie of Atlanta; grandchildren, T.J. and Dawson; and sister, Jennie Gilman of Alpena. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Ella Benson; brothers, Russell and Jimmy Benson; and sisters, Patricia and Janice Benson.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. The family has chosen to remember Judith privately at this time.
