Kendell Hardies

Hillman

Kendell Hardies  68,  went to be with His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ  on January 8, 2021 at his home in Hillman, Michigan. He was born to the late Edwin and Mavis (Bartow) Hardies.  He graduated from Hillman Community Schools and attended Alpena Community College. He married the love of his life, Diane. Their marriage was blessed with three children Gabe (Roxanna) Hardies, Josh (Alison) Hardies, Malynda (A.J.) Dubie, and six grandchildren, Lauren, Jordan, Jacob, Justin, Katelynn and Kaleb.

Kendell also has four siblings Noel (Jane) Hardies, Bill (Mary) Hardies, Chris (Donna) Hardies and Dwight (Connie) Hardies and many beloved nieces and nephews. Kendell was a life- long resident of Hillman and there was no other place he wanted to be. He had a life of farming alongside his brothers and family. In addition, he shared his love of hunting with close friends and family. He loved his community and the people in it and showed it with his years of community service. He served on the Hillman Volunteer Fire Department and as a Montmorency Township Trustee.

Kendell was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.  His family made him extremely happy and proud-!

A family graveside service will be held in the spring of 2021. Memorials can be directed to: Hillman Fire Department, Hillman United Methodist Church, or Alpena Cancer Center.
