Maryann Roemer

It is with saddened hearts we tell you about our mother, Maryann O. Roemer's journey to Heaven, to be with Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus, Sunday morning, July 24th, 2022. She passed peacefully in her sleep. She was 84 years old. She was born on August 22, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan and attended St. Anthony's Catholic School graduating in 1956. She married Kenneth W. Roemer on October 13, 1962. They moved to Lewiston Michigan in 1972.  The theme at their wedding was "Come on Baby Let's Twist" which we're sure they're doing again!

She joins her husband Kenneth W. Roemer who preceded her in death June 28th, 2012; her parents, Orville T. Gerhard, Agnes C. Nett Gerhard, her sisters, Madeline Gerhard, Carolyn Gerhard Laskowski, a brother Orville T. Gerhard Jr., a son Kenneth M. Roemer I.

She leaves behind sister, Donna Prentice; brother-in-laws, Robert Roemer and Ronald Roemer; daughters, Maureen Perry (Ken), AnnaMarie Deeter (John), Melinda Hitsman (Jason), Maryann Karen (Charles); ten grandchildren, Kenneth (Ashley), Steven (Lexy), Nik (Jennifer), Laith (Wren), Chloe', Kayla (Austin), Cole, Ryleigh, Reece, Racheal; seven great-grandchildren, Tyler, Maya, Mackenzie and Emery Mae, Ryker, Ainsley and one on the way; and many, many treasured nieces and nephews, Godchildren and cousins.

Visitation will take place on Friday, July 29, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Lewiston with the rosary service taking place from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM. The funeral mass will take place on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at the church with viewing beginning at 10:00 AM and mass beginning at 11:00 AM. There will be a luncheon following services in the church parish. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the family for final expenses.
