Rhonda Vantubergen

Mrs. Rhonda Lee VanTubergen, 64 of Lewiston, Michigan died suddenly on the early morning of September 5, 2021 at her home. She was born in Bay City, Michigan on August 23, 1957 to the late, Earl and Evelyn (Ellsworth) Myers. She was welcomed into Heaven by them both, alongside her brother, Kirk. Rhonda married her husband, David VanTubergen on February 26, 2000 and together the couple celebrated 21 years of marriage before her passing. Formerly of Mio, the couple moved to Lewiston in 2002. Rhonda was a caregiver and willing to help anyone in need. She loved the outdoors whether she was sun tanning in her backyard or walking through the woods picking mushrooms. She enjoyed listening to music and was known by her family as an amazing cook. She leaves behind her family with countless memories and all her love. She will be missed.

Rhonda is survived by her loving husband, David VanTubergen of Lewiston; children, Stacey (Doug) Freeman; Andy (Kim) Ralston; Jason Ralston all of Gaylord; grandchildren, Conner and Carter; sisters, Kristi (James) Farley of Flat Rock; Tammy (Bert) Berney of Lewiston; brothers, Kevin Myers and Mike Myers both of Florida; dog, Rufus; and her cat, Rosie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Evelyn Myers; and brother, Kirk Myers.

A memorial service will be held in celebration of Rhonda's life at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Green Funeral Home, Lewiston. Visitation will take place from noon until time of service.
