Robert Thompson

Mr. Robert Wayne Thompson, 62 of Burlington, Kentucky formerly of Ferndale, Michigan died suddenly on May 4, 2020 in Lewiston at his vacation home. He was born on July 11, 1957 in Detroit, Michigan to the late, Phyllis(Ogden) Hill and Gordon Thompson and raised by his mom and dad Ronald and Phyllis (Ogden) Hill.  Robert worked in various shops over the years and spent the last ten years working in customer service at Luxury Lanes in Ferndale before retiring. He was a member of the sons of the American Legion. He enjoyed bowling and played in numerous leagues over the years. He liked to watch all sports and attend games. Most importantly, he enjoyed time spent with family. Robert will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his daughters, Lindsey (Allan) Badgerow of Burlington, Kentucky; Sydnie Thompson of Cincinnati, Ohio; Star Thompson of Warren; five grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Carroll of Waterford; Cheryl (Tony) Orlando of Rochester Hills; Susan Tyler of Madison Heights; and the mother of his children and friend, Cecile Thompson of Burlington, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Jewel Hill; fathers, Gordon Thompson, and Ronald Hill; brothers, Steven Thompson and John Hill.

In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. The family has chosen to remember Robert privately at this time.
