Mr. Robert Wayne Voelck, 84 of Lewiston, Michigan died peacefully on March 20, 2020 at Munson Healthcare Otsego Memorial Hospital in Gaylord. He was born in Flint, Michigan on September 26, 1935 to the late, Christian and Hazel (Snyder) Voelck. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He married his wife, Linda (Griffies) Voelck on August 15, 1959 in Flint and together the couple celebrated 60 years of marriage before his passing. They have resided in Lewiston for the last 20 years. After Bob's honorable discharge from the Navy he followed in his family's footsteps and worked as a bricklayer. He also worked security for General Motors and Fisher Body for many years before retiring in 1989. He was a member of the Congregational United Church of Christ, the Masonic Lodge, American Legion Post 198 and the Atlanta Eagles. Bob enjoyed a variety of hobbies. He liked fixing and tinkering around the house and doing small engine repairs. He valued time spent with people and being social whether he was playing cards or computer games. He loved the country and the outdoors and hunting and fishing. Family was a priority to him and he valued the time he spent with them and his dog, Buddy. He will be deeply missed.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Linda Voelck of Lewiston; son, Jeff Voelck of Topsail Beach Island, North Carolina; daughter, Kim (Tom) Davis of Belleville; and grandson, Brian. He was preceded in death by his parents, Christian and Hazel Voelck; granddaughter, Heather Davis; brothers, John and G.D. and sisters, Patricia and Virginia.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and the family has chosen to remember Bob privately at this time.
