Thelma Reiter

Mrs. Thelma Jean Reiter, 82 of Hillman, Michigan passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021 surrounded by her family. Thelma Jean was born in Alpena on July 12, 1939 to the late, Stew and Marie Cook. She was a graduate of Hillman High School class of 1958. She married her husband, Clyde at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Hillman on May 6, 1961. She was a very loving, caring, and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was an active member of St. Augustine Church. Her deep and abiding faith kept her and her family strong. She so enjoyed the simple things in life, the things that matter.

She is survived by her husband, Clyde; five children, Tim, Mike (Barb), Karen, Jeanne, Pat; grandchildren, Ben, Ryan, Wyatt, Seth; great-granddaughter, Ramona; brother, Mike (Beth) Cook of Hillman; sister, MaryAnn (Jim) Matison of Florida; sister-in-law, Mary (Don) Cook of Fairview; and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stew and Marie Cook; and brother, Don.

Funeral services for Thelma will take place at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 10, 2021 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Hillman; Fr. Jim Siler officiating. Visitation will take place on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Green Funeral Home, Hillman from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Friday from 10:00 AM until time of service. Thelma will be laid to rest in the Spring at St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery.
