Mr. Valentine Paschal Peppers, 75 of Lewiston, Michigan passed peacefully at his home surrounded by the love of his family on September 14, 2022. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 17, 1947 to the late, Luther Peppers and Stella (Kurek) Bonnici. He served his country very proudly in the United States Army Special Forces during Vietnam. On July 13, 1968 he married his loving wife, Mary (Vasser) Peppers and together the couple celebrated 54 years of marriage before his passing. The couple moved to Lewiston permanently in 2010 but Valentine had been visiting the area since he was 16 years old. Together both him and Mary owned a home in Lewiston for 30+ years before making it their permanent home. Their home always became a second home to many neighborhood children and to many of those children both Valentine and Mary were referred to as Mom and Dad. Valentine was a member of the Moose. He loved socializing, playing poker, and a good glass of his best bourbon. Valentine is and will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Peppers of Lewiston; children, Valentine (Ranjana) Peppers II of Dearborn Heights; Sean (Tammy) Peppers of Lake Orion; Tara Peppers of Woodhaven; grandchildren, Andrew, Monika, Austin, Alyse, and Shruti; great-grandson, Michael; siblings, John (Laurie) Bonnici of Taylor; Nina Wooten; Vincent Bonnici; Patrick Bonnici all of Dearborn Heights; and hundreds of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
