Virginia Paul

Mrs. Virginia May Paul, 81 of Atlanta, Michigan died peacefully at her daughter's home on September 18, 2021. She was born in Bay City, Michigan on November 24, 1939 to the late, Mark and Laura (Garfield) Hawley. She was welcomed into Heaven with open arms by both her parents; husband, Bernard; and son, William. Virginia resided in Atlanta since 1999 and spent a majority of that time living with her daughter, Cathy. She loved doing crosswords and word search puzzles, as well as quilting. She will be deeply missed.

Virginia is survived by daughters, Cathy Paul of Atlanta; Vicky (Dan) Hanks of Atlanta; Carol (Ernie) Donnan of Alpena; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mark and Laura Hawley; husband, Bernard Dean Paul; and son, William.

In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. The family has chosen to remember Virginia privately at this time.  The family wishes to thank Montmorency County Deputy Todd Amborski; Medical Examiner Investigator, Annette Chalmers; Tri Township EMS; and the staff at Green Funeral Home for the compassionate care they provided to Virginia.
