William Robinson

Mr. William Arnold Robinson, 97 of Hillman, Michigan died peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at his son's home on the afternoon of October 25, 2021. He was welcomed into Heaven by his late wife, Dorothy. Arnold was born on December 31, 1923 in Detroit, Michigan to the late, Eric and Helen (Everhart) Robinson. He served his country proudly in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a past governor of the Lions Club of Michigan and a current member of the National Office Products Association. Arnold was a very devoted family man and cherished the time he had with his family. They will all miss him dearly.

He is survived by his children, William David Robinson of Lady Lake, Florida; Nancy Robinson of Ypsilanti; Dale (Lynnda) Robinson of Hillman; Dean Robinson of Hillman; Thomas (Tracey) Robinson of Waterford; daughter-in-law, Philippa Hill of Hillman; grandchildren, Eric (Ann) Robinson; Holly (Derek) Arnett; Amy (Duane) Miller; Joshua (Missy) Robinson; Randi (Lee) Newcomb; Korey Robinson; Jeremy (Dawn) Robinson; Jessica (Eli) Orsette; Megan (James) Etzel; Cheyenne (John) Deutsher; Amanda (Alfred Ah Kui) Robinson; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; sister, Joyce Drolshagen of Hillman; nephew, Gary (Chrissy) Drolshagen of Cheboygan; and niece, Diane Gandolfi of Lady Lake, Florida; and caregiver, Lisa Swift of Hillman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eric and Helen Robinson; wife, Dorothy; and son, Danny Robinson.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial service held in celebration of Arnold's life at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Green Funeral Home, Hillman. Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM until time of service. Interment will follow services at Hillman Rust Township Cemetery where Arnold will be laid to rest.
