Laura Hentkowski

Licensed Funeral Director and Preplanning Consultant

Laura has been working in funeral service since 1989 and graduated from Wayne State University in 1996 with a Bachelor's degree in Mortuary Science. She became licensed in 1997. In 2010 she opened her own funeral home in Rogers City--Hentkowski Funeral Home. She assists with Green Funeral Home on an at-need basis. When Laura is not working she enjoys spending time with her five children and attending all their sporting events.

Licensed Funeral Director and Manager

Timothy joined Green Funeral Home in 2021 and is the manager of our Atlanta and Lewiston location.

Holly Conley

Holly Conley

Client Relations and Office Manager

Holly has worked at Green Funeral Home since July 2010. She graduated from Alpena Community College with her Associate's Degree and continued her education graduating from Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in January of 2017. Holly has a passion for serving the families of Montmorency County and prides herself in helping those who are grieving ensuring their loved one's life is honored. When she is not working she enjoys being outdoors, reading, kayaking, and spending time with her daughter.

Removal Technician

James joined Green Funeral Home in the summer of 2017 and is a valuable asset to the company. He assists with removals on an at-need basis and is always helpful wherever he is needed. When he is not working he enjoys the outdoors, learning new things, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Melissa Sytek

Melissa Sytek

Administrative Assistant

Melissa is a 1993 graduate of Gaylord High School and now resides in Atlanta. She joined Green Funeral Home in April of 2021 and has been a great asset to the company. She has a background in sales and hospitality, as well as the medical field, and enjoys meeting and work with families. When she is not at work she enjoys spending time with her son, planting flowers, yard work, kayaking, playing sports, and spending time with family and friends.

Amanda Shiemke-Cordes

Amanda Shiemke-Cordes

Amanda Shiemke- Cordes joined Green Funeral Home in February of 2024 and is a wonderful addition. She is a 2017 graduate of Hillman High School and she attended Alpena Community College where she studied criminal justice. Amanda enjoys cooking, baking, going on road trips and adventures, and being outside. She is the mom of two adorable little girls and loves to spend time with family and friends.
