Mark Lloyd Kinsey
Mark Lloyd Kinsey, 49, of Lewiston, MI, passed away at his residence on June 23, 2009. He was born on March 10, 1960 to Lloyd and Barbara (Kerska) Kinsey in Taylor, MI. He married the former Caroline Schmidt on March 11, 2000 in Las Vegas, NV. Mark has lived in Lewiston since 1997, where he owned and operated Lewiston Motorsports until 2004. He was an avid bowler, he has rolled 4 300 games, and is in the bowling hall of fame for earning three rings in one night, 299 game, 300 game, and 329 series. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and snowmobiling. He enjoyed taking his 1971 and 1973 Trans Ams to the Lewiston Car Show. Above all else his family was always number 1.

Mark is survived by his wife, Carol, and children, Kathryn and Kristopher, of Lewiston, MI; father, Lloyd Kinsey of Grayling, MI; sister, Karla (Lawrence) Anderson of St Clair Shores, MI; mother in law, Kathryn Schmidt of Davenport, IA; sister in laws, Brenda (David) Faulhaber and Laura (Ron Brady) Petersen, both of Davenport, IA; brother in law, Marvin (Ann) Schmidt of Muscatine, IA; and nieces and nephews, Eric, Scott, Justin, Doug, Kirsten, and Ashley. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara; and father in law, Marvin Schmidt Sr.

As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2009 from 11-4 at the Green Funeral Home, Lewiston, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to the Kinsey Children for a trust fund to be set up for their futures; contributions can be sent in care of the Green Funeral Home, PO Box 201, Atlanta, MI 49709.
