Darwin E. Childs
Darwin E Childs, 84, of Atlanta, MI formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away on January 17, 2007 at Englehart's Care Home in Atlanta. He was born on May 8, 1922 to Flloyd and Ruth (Troup) Childs in Detroit, MI. He served his country in the Army during WWII. Darwin worked as an accountant and also sold real estate for International Telephone and Telegraph. He was a practicing Christian Scientist. Mr. Childs loved to read, hike, and enjoy nature.

Darwin is survived by his companion, Bonnie Forster of Atlanta; and three nephews, Darwin Lee, Glenn, and Bill. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ilse; and brothers, Dexter, Hugh, and Earl.

As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
