Edward Joseph Krajewski
Edward Joseph Krajewski, 78, of Lewiston, passed away at his residence on Saturday, July 17, 2010. He was born on January 10, 1932 to Walter and Agnes (Dolecki) Krajewski in Detroit, MI. Ed served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He has lived in Lewiston for the past 20+ years, formerly of Centerline, MI. He was a member of St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and the V.F.W. Post 6335 in Lewiston. He retired from Michigan Consolidated Gas Company after many years of service as a supervisor. He used to love to hunt and fish, and take part in the 50+ Club and Kitchen Band in Lewiston, he even enjoyed line dancing.
Ed is survived by his son, Tim of Lewiston, MI; daughter, Lynn (Rick) Yuhn of Rochester Hills, MI; granddaughter, Jackie (Mark) Layman of Sterling Heights, MI; great grandchildren, Trevor and Marcus; brother, Barney (Virginia) Kray of Clinton Twp, MI; and sister, Beatrice Klatt of East Tawas, MI. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary in 2008.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 23, 2010 at 11:00 AM at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Lewiston, Fr Raymond Cotter officiating. Visitation hours will be held on Thursday from 3-8 PM at the Green Funeral Home, Lewiston, and again on Friday morning from 10:00 AM until time of service at the church.
