Geraldine A. Chamberlain
Geraldine A. Chamberlain, 88, passed away at Medilodge Nursing Home in Hillman on August 27, 2008. She was born on August 22, 1920 to Thomas and Mary (Day) Owen in Detroit, MI. She has lived in Atlanta since 1995 formerly of River Rouge, MI. She was a member of St Augustine Catholic Church in Hillman. She always enjoyed making cookies, especially at Christmas. She enjoyed dogs over the years that were always part of the family. She loved to babysit for neighbors and friends, but especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren.

Mrs Chamberlain is survived by her daughters, Carol (Norm) Merta of Atlanta, and Shirley Cataldi of Alpena; grandchildren, Cynthia (Tim) LaBudie, Tohmas (Elaine) Merta, Lori (Brian) Moyer, Michael (Tisha) Forney, and Sandra (Alex) Marchena; and a sister, Rosemary (Arthur) Horne of Trenton, MI.

As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial mass will be held at St Augustine Catholic Church on Saturday, September 6, at 10:30 AM, Fr Wayne Dziekan officiating.
