Joyce Irene Sewell
Joyce Irene Sewell, 72, of Gaylord, MI, passed away at Tendercare Nursing Home in Gaylord on July 14, 2010. She was born on March 25, 1938 to Fred and Vera (Coil) Church in Flint, MI. She married Ira Sewell on June 29, 1957 in Flushing, MI. Joyce was a waitress at B J's in Gaylord for many years. She enjoyed playing BINGO as well as playing Poker from time to time. She loved baseball and hockey, and was an avid Detroit Tigers and Red Wings fan. Above all else, Joyce loved to be with her family.

Joyce is survived by her sons, Jeff (Rebecca) Sewell and Paul (Glennes) Sewell both of Gaylord, MI, and Mark (Geri) Sewell of Niceville, FL; daughter, Kimberlee (Joel) Wasylewski of Elmira, MI; 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; siblings, Virginia Callaway of Mt Morris, MI, Dorothy Yambrick of Novi, MI, Bob (Lou) Church of Clio, MI, Thelma (Fred) Clark of Cadillac, MI, Doris Munsey of Bellaire, MI, Wayne (Geri) Church of Zephyrhills,Fl. Ellie Gruener of Lady Lake,Fl. Carol (Don) Moore of Skidway Lake, MI, Janet Edwards of Flushing, MI, Linda (Dick) Tarrant of Houghton Lake, MI, David (Helen) Church of Flushing, MI, Sandy (Don) Bissell of White Lake, MI., Jeanie (Al) Ferrier of Flint, MI., and sister-in-law Marilyn Church of LaGrange, IN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira; and brothers, Herbert and Fred Church.

As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service for Mrs. Sewell will be held at a later date. Memorials have been suggested to Hospice of Michigan, Gaylord.
